The expansive great room of this custom contemporary home was a blank canvas that allowed our creativity to soar. We reinvented the cavernous space by composing several seating vignettes within the room, artfully arranging the furnishings and combining layers of texture, organic elements and botanicals that evoked a sense of belonging. Incorporating carefully selected iconic furnishings, custom artwork and unexpected accessories added individual character and created a serene balance of earthiness and style.

Whitethorn Drive

Inspired by luxe hotels, the incredible mountain views, and a passion for outdoor entertaining, this extensive exterior renovation exemplifies casual sophistication. The majority of the home’s exterior was thoughtfully renovated, providing multiple seating vignettes for dining and entertaining while creating better flow and function throughout the spaces. Beautiful focal points, furnishings designed to withstand extended direct sunlight, custom fire and water features, layers of lighting, hand-forged metal art, and a picturesque butterfly garden that delights and enchants, all work in harmony to create a stunning new outdoor haven.

PALMCROFT DRIVE

This beautiful, mid-century modern home in the heart of the historic district was previously selected for the American Institute of Architect’s Home Tour. The client needed a complete overhaul of the “social center of their home”, transcending their dark and dated kitchen into a family-friendly, open floorplan with an abundance of lighting and storage in keeping with the home’s integrity. We reconfigured the overall layout, removed internal walls, increased the kitchen ceiling height, added oversized picture and accordion windows, incorporated a pantry and bar, created a family workspace, and provided their fireplace with a facelift – all while preserving some of the existing architectural elements.

Inspired by chic hotels and the love of hosting, this extensive multi-phased renovation is a smash hit. The majority of the home’s footprint was reconfigured, providing both intimate and open areas to relax and unwind or entertain. Casual sophistication, copious amounts of storage and lighting, unexpected ceiling details, paired with understated and functional product are ever-present throughout the home. Infusing subtle texture and biophilia into the curated look grounds the spaces and provides the perfect backdrop for sharing time together and making memories with family and friends. 

LARIAT LANE

This client purchased a large second home in beautiful north Scottsdale. They wanted to "make it simple but make it significant." Honoring the sleek contemporary architecture and their penchant for simplicity in color and aesthetic, we outfitted their home's interior and exterior with beautiful, intriguing pieces, incorporated their artwork and kept the accessories minimalistic to suit their preferences. We then brought in a builder and an architect and worked together to design and build them an incredible outdoor patio structure, complete with heaters and ceiling fans.

PORTLAND AVENUE

Embracing simplicity, natural elements, and the coziness of this charming 1919 Craftsman style home in the historic district, we helped transform this kitchen into a chef’s dream fit for entertaining. Collaborating with local artisans and tradesmen to replicate the home’s minute details and style derivative elements, this well-appointed design created a seamless transition between the original home and new addition. Our design included a large working island, endless countertops, expansive storage, walk-in pantry, entertaining bar, built-in bookcase and an extensive row of windows, all in keeping with the principles of the Arts and Crafts movement.

Creating a timeless and classic vibe that is completely family and pet friendly has been our focus throughout this project. The extensive kitchen renovation focused on form, function and hidden delights, along with maximizing storage and natural light while playing up the home’s expansive ceiling height. Local artisans were brought in to share their crafts, infusing custom elements throughout the various rooms. Special considerations were given to the materials, fabrics and furnishings incorporated into the project, allowing the beauty this large and active family’s selections to shine for years to come.

This home was originally built in the early 1990s and was in desperate need of a complete refresh. We removed outdated soffits, enlarged and squared off old archways, corrected poor lighting and circulation, and worked within each room to improve the home’s overall function and flow. The master bathroom was reconfigured, ample storage was added throughout the home, and carefully hand-selected product and furnishings were incorporated into each area, infusing warmth, style and sophistication throughout this extensive, whole-home renovation. The end result is a curated sanctuary; the epitome of a home-base for this active, out-of-state family providing the perfect backdrop for years of enjoyment, memories and adventures.

DESERT FLOWER LANE

Altering the overall floor plan and reorienting the doorway into the dining room started the transformation of this active family’s kitchen into a modern, open and functional space. Removing the soffits and concealing the HVAC duct work within the upper cabinetry gives the illusion of increased height. We provided an abundance of storage, dual pantries, a drop zone/charging station, as well as an organizational cabinet obscures calendars, school supplies, mail and grocery lists, keeping clutter at bay.

A compete overhaul transformed this McCormick Ranch home into an open and welcoming retreat for this part-time Scottsdale resident, their family and their friends. The neutral backdrop works in perfect harmony with the furnishings and decorative elements, each individually selected to embody comfort and reflect the client's personality, as well as their quiet air of casual sophistication.

This client loved their home and it's location but wanted a dramatically updated look. Timeless, classic colors, custom elements, and striking yet subdued selections work in perfect harmony, reflect the client's personality and provide a comfortable and functional space for this active family.

This large and open tech office had an extensive list of needs: workstations for 75 with room for growth, 31 private offices, an enclosed conference room, an employee lounge and game area with a full kitchen suitable for hosting large events, main restrooms, plus a private executive lounge and restroom. They also needed a creative solution to absorb some of the sound throughout their bull-pen styled workstations. We integrated classic yet functional elements, blended systems furniture and case goods with custom furnishings; and incorporated custom felt panels throughout the space to help with the acoustics, bringing in a lively pop of color and an artsy vibe.

Repurposing and altering two dated rooms eliminated the costly expense of a game room addition and created a retreat that encourages family time, fun, and great memories. Raising the floor, relocating the entry, and adding custom barn doors, vintage-inspired shiplap, and recessed lighting were key elements that reinvigorated the space. Charming farmhouse simplicity paired with serene colors, custom furnishings, and family photo gallery walls filled with sentimental items throughout their home evoke a sense of togetherness and embraced the true reflection of the client’s personality.
