We're actively seeking a seasoned project manager for our growing design firm.  Is this you?

If you’re a project manager in the interior design industry who can answer YES to the following, you might be a great fit for our firm!

  • Do you know how to manage the shiz outta things? This means you are extremely organized; have a clear understanding of the intricacies of a project, including their average durations and how to create the team’s schedule of activities; work independently AND confidently collaborate with your fellow team members; and confidently know how to manage all the parts and pieces of a project while effectively leading your team members and delivering a successful project
  • Are you a numbers nerd who loves spreadsheets? This means you understand and work well with budgets, effectively managing the financial aspect of the project, working with the Principal from the initial budget creation through punchlist completion – all with an eye on the project’s expenditures.
  • Are you well-versed in working with clients and team members alike? This means you understand how to present yourself, communicate, and comfortably pivot from client or vendor meetings, to working with crew on construction jobsites, all while representing our company well.
  • Are you a solutions-driven individual? This means you seek to understand the challenges at hand, and then work to create solutions and overcome obstacles?

We're looking for someone proficient in the residential design world, helping our team curate and deliver our hard and soft surface packages.

The position is a freelance role, initially ranging from 15 to 30 hours per week and increasing based on your availability and our project loads.

And while our team primarily works remotely, it's HIGHLY preferred that you’re local to the Phoenix Metropolitan area to apply.

Requirements & Proficiencies:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact with Creative Edge Interior’s vendors, trades, artisans and clientele in a manner befitting our firm
  • Microsoft suite of programs: Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Canva
  • Monday

General Responsibilities:

  • Shepherd the project from inception to completion.
  • Lead our team of professionals in completing all aspects of our projects in a timely and accurate fashion while honoring and advancing our business initiatives.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for our clients and our team members, ensuring all actions and individuals remain harmonious.
  • Make effective decisions to progress the project in a timely fashion while cultivating a solutions-driven culture.
  • Perform quality control throughout the progression of our projects.
  • Assist the Principal in elevating the overall experience of the client and our team through feedback, ideas for improvement, and implementation once approved by the principal.
  • Keep Creative Edge Interiors relevant and “cutting edge”, offering solutions and input on how to further elevate our internal and external client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Live the values of Creative Edge Interiors
  • Provide a luxury experience and echelon service for CEI’s clientele by going above and beyond.
  • Be the project’s main point of contact for team, vendors, builders, artisans, and our clientele
  • Participate and collaborate with the principal designer to understand and support the project goals and objectives, including but not limited to work plan, timeline, and budget parameters.
  • Create internal folders and ensure all data and imagery are updated in a timely manner.
  • Keep our CRM updated and accurate
  • Create project timeline, driving, monitoring and updating all tasks, deadlines, and calendar deliverables in Monday. Includes creating checkpoints throughout the process to ensure we’re on task and on time, as well as providing reports showing project’s progress
  • Participate in weekly meetings regarding current and upcoming projects, as well as other items relating to the firm’s growth and expansion
  • Provide weekly update emails on all projects managed
  • Oversee internal product and pricing documentation and updates
  • Create and/or oversee visual presentations according to our standards
  • Ensure all documentation matches and that we're ready for presentation
  • Oversee the procurement of all presentation materials, including material samples, supplies, food, and beverages, and ensure our presentation location is secured and reserved
  • Oversee procurement process, including working with the accounting team when needed
  • Schedule – then participate in – client appointments, accurately recording the discussions then uploading into our client folder(s)
  • Work with warehouse team on all receiving and freight damage resolution
  • Oversee scheduling and white-glove installation process
  • Oversee efficient and expedient punchlist resolution
  • Work with our social media and marketing teams to update them on all projects managed
  • Schedule and oversee our professional photography process
  • Oversee client notes and gifting throughout our process
  • Work with our amazing clients to receive and upload their 5-star reviews
