If you’re a designer who can answer YES to the following, you might be a great fit for our firm!
- Do you know how to design cool shiz from a client’s perspective? This means you can put your own style aside and listen deeply to the client’s genre and preferences.
- Do you understand and work well with budgets? This means you can design within the financial parameters we’re given, know how to “manipulate” the budget, and feel confident in guiding our clients through the selection process.
- Do you have design experience and are well-versed in working with clients and builders alike? This means you understand how to present yourself, communicate, and comfortably pivot from client or vendor meetings, to working with crew on construction jobsites, all while representing our company well.
- Are you a solutions-driven individual? This means you seek to understand the challenges at hand, and then work to create solutions and overcome obstacles.
The position is a freelance design role, initially ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week.
We are looking for someone proficient in both spectrums of the design world, curating both hard and soft surface packages.
And while our team primarily works remotely, you must be local to the Phoenix Metropolitan area to apply.
You’re an ideal candidate if you have an outgoing personality, you’re an excellent communicator, and you like people! You must be confident rocking your lane, creating unique and beautiful designs, working well independently and in a collaborative environment ... and finding beauty in life’s small moments.
And you gotta love to laugh because we believe in infusing joy and fun into everything we do!
