Designer Roles and Responsibilities

About Us

Creative Edge Interiors (CEI) is an award-winning, fun and fast-growing interior design firm serving the residential and boutique commercial sectors. We believe in designing exceptionally unique spaces that reflect our client’s essence and lifestyle. Our team focuses on relationship building and collaboration and we specialize in creating curated looks incorporating timeless elements and infused with casual sophistication. Our fresh perspective and systematic approach alleviate many of the pressure points so our clients can relax and enjoy the journey as much as we do!

We are seeking a seasoned designer for our firm. Is this you?

If you’re a designer who can answer YES to the following, you might be a great fit for our firm!

  • Do you understand and work well with budgets? This means you can design within the financial parameters we’re given, know how to “manipulate” the budget, and feel confident in guiding our clients through the selection process.
  • Do you have design experience and are well-versed in working with clients and builders alike? This means you understand how to present yourself, communicate, and comfortably pivot from client or vendor meetings, to working with crew on construction jobsites, all while representing our company well.
  • Are you a solutions-driven individual? This means you seek to understand the challenges at hand, and then work to create solutions and overcome obstacles.

The position is a freelance design role, ranging from 10 to 30 hours per week.

We are looking for someone proficient in both spectrums of the design world, curating both hard and soft surface packages.
