• Are you a techie who excels at bringing residential design concepts to life through 2D drawings and 3D renderings? We're looking to team with an "electronic artisan" who is grounded in all aspects of residential construction, furniture, and cabinetry drawings; someone with mad skills who can comfortably pivot between a collaborative team meeting to working independently ... all for the sake of creating magic with an array of computer commands and clicks.

• Are you an independent thinker? We aren't just looking for a drafter. We're looking for a self-starter who understands there's a natural progression of finessing and detailing that's required to bring our concepts to fruition. You'll receive clear design direction, and we've got our standards to refer to as well ... but we need your eye, experience, intuition, and unique flavor to make the real magic happen.

• Are you a solutions-driven individual? We're pretty hard core about working with team members who actively (and proactively) seek to understand the challenges at hand, and then work to create solutions and overcome obstacles. This is a vital component of our firm's success and we can't continue to excel without this mindset.

• Are you confident with time projections and solid with your time management skillset? Our world revolves around creativity and inspiration ... but we're deeply rooted in structure, timelines and budgets, so it's pivotal that you are too so we stay on task ... and on budget!

This position is a freelance role, with your time investment being dictated by our project loads and/or deadlines, so let's chat about your capacity to run with multiple projects at a time. (It's definitely gonna happen!)

Also, we're open to you working remotely ... as long as your time zone is no more than three hours different than Arizona (Mountain Standard Time).

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with Creative Edge Interior’s team members in a manner befitting our firm
• Deep seated knowledge of residential construction and furniture drawings and documentation
• AutoCAD and EnScape (or similar 3D visualization platform, if approved by Creative Edge Interiors)

• Live the values of Creative Edge Interiors
• Provide echelon service for CEI’s team members and clientele by going above and beyond the "typical" call of duty
• Attend team meetings, as needed or requested, to enhance relationships with your team members and to discuss upcoming and existing projects
• Create detailed 2D residential project drawings (including floor plans, elevations, demo and electrical plans, custom furniture drawings, etc.), in addition to 3D perspective drawings, for our renovation and furniture package projects
• Weekly communication with CEI’s principal (or team members) on all items in flux
